Warrior Batsmen Split with Bulldogs

Waverly Warriors Girls Track 3rd at Williamston Regional

The Lady Warriors had a fantastic Regional Meet at Williamston, finishing 3rd out of 15 Teams with 72 Points. Congratulations to Malin Smith in breaking her own Shot Put school record for the 4th time with a throw of 43′ 01.50”.  Waverly had 6 athletes qualify for the state meet across 7 events. Boys Finish 3rd at Regionals – Qualify in 5 State Final Events

The Waverly Boys Track Team Finished 3rd in the Division 2 Regional at Williamston.  State Qualifiers were Alex Owens(200m, 4×100,4×200), Keshaun Harris(110HH, 300H, 4×100, Tommy Herring(4×100, 4×200), DaVarie Halliburton(4×100, 4×200), Wanye’ Sanders(4×200). The Boys next meet is Wednesday, May 25 at St. Johns for the CAAC Red Championships.  Field events begin at 2:00 PM.

Varsity Golf Ends CAAC Season at Hawk Hollow

Golf Team Hosts CAAC RED

The Boys Varsity Golf Team finished 6th at Royal Scot on Tuesday hosting their portion of the CAAC Red Golf Jamboree. Zach Beavers had a good night shooting 40. Cameron Smith shot a solid 48.  Justin Harris shot a 53, and Brett Roth a 62. The Boys are playing the CAAC Red Finals today at Hawk

Varsity Girls Track & Field Competes Well at DeWitt

The Lady Warriors lost to DeWitt tonight 61-72 however there were numerous standout performances by many athletes.
