All three levels traveled to East Lansing Tuesday evening and fought off many setbacks, challenges, and just not playing their best volleyball. However, they showed resilience, perseverance, and demonstrated the importance of staying positive and never giving in.
Freshman dropped the first set but came back to win the next two. In the last set, Jada Amunga served 11 straight with at least 5 aces to help lead the team to victory.
JV fought hard but fell short dropping the sets 23-25 and 21-25.
Varsity played all five sets winning the 1st, 3rd, and 5th set. Kaylee Ellis lead the attack with 14 Kills, while Mekaia Moore had 30 Assists, and Andreaya Perkins had 3 Aces. Andreaya also had 10 Blocks and Jaonna Miller had another solid night with 13 Digs.
