Warriors News · Boys & Girls Home Track Opener Success Shared As A Team


The girls and boys track & field teams hosted Benton Harbor on Tuesday. Both teams came away with wins.

The girls score was 88-33 and the team was led by first place finishes by: Jasmine Goins with 3, Jaida Thomas, Celeste Castillo and Maizy Day with 2 wins and one win each for Annescia Rollins, Jasmine Parker, Katurah Brown, Kennedy Williams, Xavyah Haynes, Ra’Janique Coleman and Sam McDuffie.

The boys team score was 125-12. The boys were led with 4 event wins by Keshaun Harris, 3 wins each by Bryson Fronta, Ciardan Hibbs, Caleb Allen and Devin Johnson. 2 first place finishes by Ellis Trainor, Bryan Williams and Nick Pulley. One first place finish each by Jason Carter, Carl Pollard, Steven Davis, Ariston Plumber, Jermaine Askew and Elisha Creshaw. Both teams will be in action again at home Friday, April 12 as Waverly hosts an All-City Meet to include Everett, Sexton and Eastern High School. Start time for field events is 4:00 PM, $5.00 admission. Go Warriors!
